Hooray!!! Our Grand Vin 2018 has just obtained a silver medal at the Coutras competition. Many thanks to the team who made it possible to achieve this high result. And especially to Philippe GUGÈS, Jean-Pierre BUSTAMANTE and our oenologist Karïn PASQUET.
Le Grand Vin du Château Gugès embodies the quintessence of this wine-growing estate. It is based on the grapes coming from the oldest plots of the vineyard, some of which are 100 years old. The wine is a blend of four grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot Noir (35%), Cabernet Franc (15%) and Petit Verdot (10%), each of which brings a special and important touch to its aromatic and taste richness. It is aged only in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
