Château Gûnes at the 19th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants de Bordeaux et Nouvelle Aquitaine in Luxembourg 2025

From January 29 to February 2, 2025, nearly 100 independent winegrowers and winemakers from Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine will gather in Luxembourg again to welcome true wine enthusiasts. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore and savor an incredible variety of wines, reflecting diverse personalities, terroirs, and flavors.

Among the participants is Château Gûnes (formerly Château Guges), proudly featured in the HAUT-MÉDOC section at Stand B10 (Luxexpo The Box Nord).

In 2024, we won 3 Gold Medals: a Gold Medal at the World Competition for our exceptional 1785 vintage 2020, and 2 Gold Medals at the National Competition of Independent Winemakers in Paris for our L’Héritages 2019 and 2020. We also remind you that our 2018 vintage had won a Gold Medal in 2022, once again demonstrating the outstanding quality of our wines.

We are thrilled to introduce the sophisticated audience to the exceptional wines of Château Gûnes, which serve as a benchmark for Bordeaux wines. These creations are a true expression of a one-of-a-kind terroir, shaped by fertile soils, a favorable climate, an exceptional geographical location, and the expertise of our highly qualified oenologists.

The distinctive qualities of our wines include:

• HVE certificate which confirms our environmental friendliness;
• zero herbicides;
• average age of the vines >60 years;
• manual, selective harvesting;
• vinification in concrete and inox cuves with thermoregulation;
• 4 times a day delestage during the process of alcoholic fermentation;
• aging in oak barrels for at least 18 months;
• assemblage after aging in barrels;
• a number of prestige awards of national competitions of independent winemakers;
• preservation of traditions and openness to innovations;
• direct sales to customers in different countries, etc.
